Thoroughbred racing pigeons?

It reminds me of Japan circa the 1980s when they were going to take over the world.

For the minor sum of $100 US, you could have some gold leaf added to your cocktail, something not a few people did...back then.

Now they are sinking under the combined weight of unpayable debts and corruption.

Is China on the same path?

Big demographic changes, a completely insolvent banking system (yet to be revealed), and epic corruption lead me to say yes.
