The only people who seem to be supporting Wall Street these days are Wall Street workers, corrupt government officials, financial news “journalists”, and random idiots.
If you're a real businessperson, a real entrepreneur, you know that the current regime on Wall Street has all but destroyed the US economy. Our customers have less money (assuming they have any money at all), credit is tight, and one class of people - the banks with a direct line to the Fed - are not only being given a free ride, the given incalculable amounts of play money to bid up the cost of every conceivable raw material.
The bigger these public demonstrations become, the more business people will come out of woodwork and say publicly what they've been saying privately.
Even though the reporting of these demonstrations has been appallingly bad, small kernels of truth are to getting out as a result.
And the bottom line truth is - in addition to all our other structural economic problems - under Clinton, Bush II, and Obama - Wall Street has been given a free hand to ripoff everything that isn't nailed down and they've taken full advantage of the opportunity.
