There are lots of ways to buy, sell and use Bitcoin.

None of them are easy. They're all a lot of work.

That said, for now at least, Bitcoin has not only held its value, but it seems (for now) to be crawling inexorably higher.

One thing that appears clear about it, buying and selling it through a "handy dandy" Bitcoin ATM machine seems like pure madness.

Conclusion: For now, Bitcoin is clearly geek money.

That said there are a lot of geeks, many of them have money, and some have a ton of money - and there are currently only 12 million Bitcoins worldwide and the ultimate number is capped at 21 million.
