Why aren't these people in jail yet?
October 31, 2010
This is the question I've been asking myself since Reagan became president.
When you see this documentary, you'll know why.
Over 1,000 Savings and Loan crooks did jail time, but so far, no Wall Street investment bank heads have seen in the inside of a courtroom, let alone a jail cell.
If you think the "bad times" are over, you need to see this film which has been making the festival circuit and is showing up in major cities.
You can't really grasp the full scope and depth of the criminality - on Wall Street, in academia (Harvard and Columbia in particular), the Fed, the Congress and the White House - until you do.
It's beyond a "rigged game" and it was designed to enrich a small number of bankers at the expense of the real economy...and it continues today without a shred of real change.
