Matt Taibbi gets the goods again

There are precious few independent news outlets in the United States that have any reach.

One shining exception is Rolling Stone Magazine.

Note: While bogus "Left Wing" magazines like The Nation are thin and rely on charity (and covert manipulation), Rolling Stone is a real business.

Rolling Stone has given Matt Taibbi a platform and he's done fantastic reporting.

And, what do you know? Rolling Stone's circulation grows while most other magazines (and TV news programs) fade.

Dylan Ratigan is doing a good job on MSNBC too.

As for "hopeful news" from a recently announced Congressional investigation..don't hold your breath. Having him end the interview asking Ratigan to keep the heat on Congress is not confidence inspiring.
