Why does the US permit imports from countries that: 1) employ slave labor and b) have no environmental laws.

Hey, I can be the cheapest producer too if you let me hold a gun to my employees heads and let me dump the waste products of my business in the street.

That, in essence, is what China does.

We don't run China and what goes on there is their business - but what we import is OUR business.

Importing products that compete with our own from countries where labor and environmental laws don't exist is insane.
