What if you eased and no one cared?

You can goose a healthy economy.

It's hard to goose on that's on a respirator.

The procedure is called "pushing a string."

You can pull on a string, but have you ever tried pushing one?

How about flooding an engine? After a while, more gasoline just doesn't do anything.

That's where we are.

The solution?

Banks must be a allowed to fail. Overextended companies must be allowed to fail. Loans have to be written off. Prices have to be allowed to fall to the point that they attract investors and buyers.

It will be painful and it's going to come one way or another so why not let it happen deliberately instead of having it forced on us catastrophically.
